Rj did a wonderful job with my boxer mix! She’s a very high energy hard to control dog and with just 4 sessions i feel way more confident taking her out on her leash around other people and dogs knowing that I can control her now. Before training she wouldn’t listen at all when she was on leash and now with a simple command she is walking or sitting right by my side. Getting her to sit and lay down and stay is a million times easier now too. Can’t imagine my crazy girl listens now but rj did a fantastic job with her and even snapped a couple great pics of her! I drove 18 hours round trip to the Florida Panhandle to get my boy Mako. This is where I had my first experience with Gatorland K9 and the owners son RJ. As Mako began to mature and experience testosterone, He was getting to be a bit of a wild man. I have always trained my Dobermans by myself, but Malinois are a different story. I was fortunate to see RJ had moved to West Palm Beach. I contacted him and asked about training. In a very short period of time, RJ had made a complete turn around with my buddy Mako. Dog training also includes training the owner and yes I learned alot. His rates are very reasonable and he has a unique way of mentally connecting with the dog. It’s kind of amazing to see. Our Prices

Each session begins at $100 per session and each sesssion is approximately one hour.

We provide: Inhome Training, Inboard Training, Dailey Drop Off Training and  Group Classes

Payment

We have various payment options that we can provide to you, whether you’d like to pay for one session at a time, or for entire training programs with a deadline.

Obedience and Behavioral Training Goals

1st session:

Within the first session we evaluate your dog, build a bond with it and settle a training plan.

Dog may also learn leash preassure, sit command, heeling and following.

 Session 2 through 4

Dog will learn: Heel, Sit, Down, Stay, Downstay(250 ft+), Following

We will correct pulling on the leash and jumping behavior.

Session 5 through 8

Dog Learns how to do all obedience on a Dogtra Ecollar

The dog learns to do Obedience with distractions and around other dogs.

The dog learns to do obedience in public and dog friendly store

Session 9 through 12

Dog Learns: to behave around other dogs and is either social with other dogs again or completely avoidant

and doesn’t show aggression even when other dogs are barking loudly or aggressively.

Dog learns to reliably walk off leash at parks throughout the household environment.

Digging behavior may be corrected, playing rough with other dogs

may be corrected, jumping on counters may be fixed, distructive chewing may be addressed.

Session 13 through 18

Public Service Dog Ready

Protection dog Training Begins

Who is K9Rj

Rj Hoppe is a second generation dog trainer. He grew up in the dog training world through his parents’ family business, Gatorlandk9. Rj started training dogs when he was 14 years old and by the age of 20 he trained professionally. He has trained dogs for families, police departments and the disabled. One thing you’ll recognize about Rj is that he is excellent working with each individual dog by adjusting to their needs and temperament. He works at a comfortable pace with his clients never missing details in training as well as meeting goals in a very short amount of time.
